Jahan Kalantar

  • Jahan Kalantar is a highly experienced criminal defence lawyer renowned for his strategic advocacy, courtroom presence, and ability to achieve exceptional outcomes in complex and high-stakes matters.

    Admitted to the New South Wales Bar at just 25, Jahan completed his pupilage at Frederick Jordan Chambers under the mentorship of former NSW Supreme Court Judge, the Honourable Greg James AM KC. After practising as a criminal barrister for several years, he attained his Solicitor’s Practising Certificate and founded Executive Legal in 2017, relaunching an expanded practice as Executive Law Group in 2022 alongside Clarisse Lam.

    Jahan is known for meticulous preparation, sharp legal insight, and advancing arguments others overlook. His approach is disciplined, strategic, and relentlessly outcome-focused - consistently delivering results that set him apart in his field.

    Equally, Jahan brings a deeply human approach to his work. He understands that behind every matter is a person, a family, and a future at stake. He is known for going above and beyond for his clients; ensuring they feel heard, supported, and powerfully represented at every stage.

    In addition to his criminal practice, Jahan is also a skilled family lawyer, advising in complex and sensitive matters with clarity and strength. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at The College of Law and remains committed to excellence in both advocacy and legal education.

    Jahan’s favourite way to start the day is by walking his miniature dachshund, Paloma, who is as committed to catching her ball as he is to his clients.

Clarisse Lam

  • Clarisse Lam is well-rounded generalist lawyer known for her sharp judgment, direct communication, and ability to execute with precision in complex matters. She co-founded Executive Law Group in 2022 and leads the Commercial practice.

    She specialises in resolving high-stakes disputes and has considerable family law experience, bringing a pragmatic and results-driven approach to every case. Clarisse is valued by clients and colleagues alike for her reliability, clarity, and consistent delivery - ensuring matters are handled efficiently and strategically from start to finish. She goes above and beyond in every case, leading with the people-first approach that ELG is renowned for.

    Her work has been recognised with Lawyers Weekly New Partner of the Year (SME Law) 2025, reflecting both her technical expertise and impact within the profession.

    Outside of practice, Clarisse enjoys watching animations and playing visual novels - interests that reflect her appreciation for storytelling, detail, and immersive worlds.

Hannah Bourke

  • As Director of Operations of Executive Law Group, Hannah Bourke is the driving force behind the firm’s strategy, operations, and culture. She works across the business to ensure everything runs with intention - from long-term vision through to the day-to-day systems that keep the team performing at their best.

    Having spent a decade in the corporate world across multiple business functions, Hannah brings a strong commercial lens to the legal environment. She is deeply focused on operational excellence and building a workplace culture where people feel supported, motivated, and empowered to grow.

    Hannah is known within the firm for her positivity and genuine encouragement of others - qualities that help foster collaboration and momentum across the team. A standout career moment was watching Clarisse Lam recognised as Partner of the Year at the Lawyer's Weekly Awards - a milestone that reflected the strength, ambition, and shared commitment of the entire firm.

    Outside of work, you’ll likely find Hannah cooking for family and friends - bringing the same energy and care to entertaining as she does to the workplace.

William Lam

  • Specialising in Criminal Law, William helps clients navigate complex legal matters with clarity, support, and expertise. Admitted in August 2015, he has successfully assisted numerous clients in large commercial supply cases, helping them obtain bail, have charges withdrawn, or achieve not-guilty verdicts at trial.

    With an LLB and BCom (Distinction) from UNSW, William is committed to ensuring clients fully understand and engage with the legal process. He works closely with each client to achieve outcomes tailored to their individual circumstances, combining legal expertise with a supportive and transparent approach.

    William’s engagement with the EDM music scene and volunteering with NSW movements has provided practical insight into offences under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act and the Law Enforcement Powers and Responsibilities Act. These experiences inform his professional practice and enhance his ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Robert Hanson

  • Bringing over 17 years of experience in criminal law, Robert supports clients with a practical, approachable, and down-to-earth style. Known for his friendly manner and clear communication, he helps clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence and understanding.

    Robert has worked across both small and medium-sized law firms and successfully operated his own legal practice for more than a decade. In addition to his work in criminal law, he has experience in migration and family law, and has appeared before NCAT in matters involving fencing, tenancy, and neighbour disputes.

    Originally from Ghana, Robert has also lived in Papua New Guinea and the United Kingdom, bringing a diverse perspective to his legal work and interactions with clients. He is excited to continue his legal practice journey with ELG and SRC.

Yazdhan Sameer

  • Specialising in Commercial Litigation, Contract Law, Corporate Advisory, Debt Recovery, Defamation, Dispute Resolution, and Privacy, Yazdhan helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes with strategic, commercially grounded advice. Admitted in July 2019, he is trusted to guide clients through complex litigation and decision-making, achieving efficient and effective outcomes.

    With an LLB (Hons) from the University of London, an LLM from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from UTS, Yazdhan combines strong academic foundations with practical expertise. Colleagues and clients value his clear communication, foresight, and ability to manage risks while keeping matters on track.

    Outside of his legal work, Yazdhan channels the same focus and discipline into strength training and grappling, enjoys gaming, and spends quality time with his two cats - habits that reflect the balance, strategic thinking, and persistence he brings to his professional practice.

Kayla Brander

Samuel Debney

Rachel Nordon

Mary Rose T. Saloma

Andy Park

  • Supporting the Commercial team as a Student Paralegal, Andy Park brings curiosity, academic focus, and a strong drive for precision to his role at Executive Law Group.     Prior to joining the firm, Andy worked as a volunteer paralegal at the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre, gaining valuable experience in client-focused legal support and community advocacy. His exposure to diverse legal matters has strengthened both his practical skills and his appreciation for the broader social impact of the law.

    Outside the office, Andy’s passion lies in music. He plays in a band and is set to record this year - a creative pursuit that reflects the discipline, collaboration, and dedication he brings to his legal work.

Cris Ganas

  • Overseeing legal accounting, practice management, and paralegal training, Cris ensures Executive Law Group’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. With three years of paralegal experience in South Australia and Queensland, he brings a solid foundation in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and estate planning.

    A Level 2 Xero Certified Professional, Cris successfully managed the firm’s transition from Actionstep to LEAP, maintaining financial data accuracy throughout the migration. He also leads training and onboarding for new paralegals, helping them understand workflows and the LEAP software system. Colleagues value his proactive, process-oriented approach, creative problem-solving, and the clear support he provides to the team.
